As Recording Secretary my duty is to gather information for future reference. This information is intended to be distributed to the membership. This web sites first goal is to make this information readily available. I have a lot of stuff on file, every meeting adds to the file. List of available documents I will be working to get more available here on OUR web site. A personal goal of mine is to use this site as a tool to foster more involvement with in our local and the IBEW as well. Too bad nobody wants to get involved. Yes, Todd I am refering to you. I have got the basics set up. It just takes a lot of time to do all the Typing and scanning. Still looking for someone who would like to be part of bringing this bunch people a little closer to modern communicating. I am going to try out some voice recognition software ,the new MS Vista claims to have support built in, To help with the task of getting the page updated. Meeting News Is a summary of what happed at the meeting.
There is NOT 'page back links' installed on pages within this site. Not really a big deal just remember to use the browser back or forward buttons to move between pages. I plan on opening pictures and documents in thier own window in the future. Right now my plan is keep it simple. It is already bugging me to crazy that I have not figured how to integrate spell checker.
This site is being paid for by member dues. We have a big chunk of memory available. MEMBER PHOTOS is your place to put something on the World Wide Web. Use it. Make a statment with words or pictures, both is OK too. I suppose I should change the name from 'members photos' to 'members memory'. Send e-mail or get some thing I can scan to me. I will get it posted, No porno is about the limit.

Nomination for delegates to the SC 16 convention will happen at the April meeting. I have the LU Bylaws in electronic format. I still have to go thru them and do some editing.LU 959 bylaws
Elections for the Delegate to the SC 16 convention are May 1st. At the May 15th Meeting nominations for Officiers to LU959 will be taken.
